 1.3 Inconsistent shadows.
 
ü The shadows are not parallel in the images because of perspective.  A single light source can indeed produce non-parallel shadows, if the objects are at different distances from the observer.

ü Remember, these are three dimensional scenes projected onto a two dimensional photograph. The loss of a dimension creates distortions.

When the Sun is low and shadows are long, objects at different distances do indeed cast non-parallel shadows, even here on Earth.
