The
 Rebuttal: Debunking the
 Conspiracy Theorists
1.6 The temperatures on the Moon are
too great for film to survive.

ü The lunar landings and surface explorations
were done when the Sun was low, so that the temperatures
 were quite moderate (~38 °C).
 ü
 ü Also,
the film in the cameras was kept in magazines that provided protection
from heat when left in direct sunlight.
 ü
üWithout an atmosphere  to conduct heat, the film inside the magazines
would take several hours to reach thermal equilibrium with the
surrounding thermal environment even if it were left in direct sunlight!
